My mom recommended me to a **new***(not anymore!) babysitter just opposite of her house. We send him there last week and it was not a good one. We already change to another new babysitter and Isaac was there since yesterday.

Last week, the babysitter kept calling me and complained to me how difficult it was to take care of Isaac and etc. I know it was a challenge as he is already 10months old plus and can understand most of the stuff and is aware of the surroundings more now. This babysitter has no patience in taking care of him. He called me on Monday and inform me that Isaac fell down and it was not serious so I didn't care that much as I thought it was just a normal fall as he is already cruising and walking by holding on furniture. When we went to pick him up that day, his face was blue black and has some bruises on both his left and right cheeks. I questioned the babysitter and aske him how he fell etc. He said he was not sure how he fell as he left Isaac on the bouncer while he went to the back to get something. How irresponsible of him! Of course, we took Isaac to the doctor and doctor told me this injury is not caused by fall and asked him is it physically abuse? He said he's not sure and advised us to make police report. I told him I didn't want to make such a big thing and just want to make sure Isaac is alright only. Doctor look a bit dissapointed.

I called up the babysitter and asked him to pack all Isaac's stuff as I want to change to another babysitter already. He kept apologizing and calling me day and night to say he is sorry and all.

I actually forgive him already and no hatred in my heart. I personally know that accidents may happen and I do not have proove that he actually did physically abuse my son. Nobody knows that for sure. All I know is that he is not meant to be taking care of Isaac and I do not want to take any risks or chances with him anymore.

Then my previous babysitter- Alice gave me a contact. It's her sis in law's sister. Since she is somebody's relatives and from a good recommendation I give it a try. I went to see her yesterday and she seems to be okay. I was surprised Isaac did not cry when we reach her house that time. She's up for the challenge and told me she know it's going to be tough taking care of a 10mths old and going to take time for Isaac to accept her as a new babysitter. I'm thankful for that. So far it has been day 2 and she seems more under control than the previous babysitter so we will see how it goes...Fingers crossed....

Walking already?

Isaac started walking by holding on to furniture about 1 month ago and I have a feeling he will work independently soon. Few nights ago, he suddenly let go of the table and walk 2-3steps unaided to his car toy. Tjun Aun was taking video of him and we manage to capture the 'special' moment. I will try to upload the video here soon.

Tjun Aun was so excited and was yelling for me and the video captured his voice too! hehe....

Even my babysitter was telling me he did the same thing at her house too. He was able to walk 2-3 steps unaided at 9months plus! Well...my little boy is growing up fast....and taking care of him is not easy as he wants to spend his time mostly on the floor exploring. His speech has also develop and he is talkative too (just like her sister). He is able to said "mum-mum" whenever he sees food and whenever we are eating something and "nen-nen" when i bring out his milk bottle. I still direct feed him and sometimes he will beat my chest and scream "NEN-NEN!!!"

He is able to call me "MA-MA" but then I'm not sure he knows the meaning or not as he calls everyone "MA-MA" too. Few times I caught him saying "Da-De" (Sounds like Daddy). He is closer to daddy and I don't know why....must be daddy's boy.

Will keep you guys updated on his progress.

Updates, updates and more updates!

I know I’ve been missing in action for the longest time ever!
Many of you ask me why no updates on your blog? My reply was lazy, no time etc. :P
I have lots to updates…Isaac….oh Isaac…
He is already 9months and 4days old today. Time flies or what?
Ooops my last post was 2months ago…previously I blog about Isaac’s progress. About 1 month after that, he was doing so many things that I hope I can record all of them down.
From crawling to sitting up by himself to pulling himself up and standing up and walking to mumbling words! Yes, guess what is Isaac’s first word? MA-MA…..after all the sacrifices it’s really worth all the effort! Whenever he sees me he will call me MA-MA.
He has 4 teeth now 2 at the bottom and 2 big teeth on top and has been drooling a lot!
He started walking at 8months plus and I have a strong feeling he might walk independently soon?
At 9months, he already can master the Walking Toy (from Fisher Price). Yesterday night he was holding on the toy and cruising around the living hall. I remember my MIL gave this toy to Naomi during Christmas and she was struggling with the toy (That time she was about 9months plus also). Besides, using the walker to walk, Isaac is able to ride on it, he can use his leg to move and change direction! Is he talented or what?! Haha…
I still don’t know what his current weight is as we’re schedule for a 2nd prevanar jab end of this month only. Overall he is doing pretty okay and he’s still on mummy’s milk. I did introduce him to formula and he likes it as well. For solid, he’s eating very well and can eat quite a big bowl of porridge. I’ve started to give him a lot of solids such as cereals, carrots, potatoes, fish, chicken, pork, bread, oats, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, avocados, kiwi and etc. He’s quite adventurous when comes to food as he is willing to try anything and everything that is edible.
He still wakes up in the middle of the night for milk (a.k.a confort sucking). I still let him sleep by himself on his cot every night but sometimes when he’s awake he will stand up on his cot and call onto me. Tjun Aun prefers him to sleep in the middle (same bed as us) as he’s scared that he might climb over and fall from his cot (like what had happen to Naomi – before she turns the big 1). Obviously, Isaac prefers to sleep with us. He will sleep longer when he shares the bed with us compare to the sleep on his cot. Stay tune...more updates coming up...

Isaac @7months

Hmm....overall Isaac has been growing pretty well for a 7months old baby boy. Doctor measure his height, weight and head circumference and concluded that he is a big baby. Dr Tan did some development test with him. First, he grab a toy and move the toy to the left and then slowly to the right and then drop the toy. Isaac follow all his actions and movements with no problem at all. The next test was he gave him another toy and Isaac reach his 2 hands and then slowly uses one hand to grab the toy. Dr Tan said that he is begining to grab things using one hand now instead of both hands and he is able to pass the toy from one hand to another hand now. Next test was he put a small button on his palm and ask Isaac to grab the button. Isaac push the button and then pick the button up with his middle finger and thumb. Dr Tan also said not bad to this. His physical and fine motor skills are both very good but I'm worried about one thing though. He haven't started talking yet :( Dr Tan asked whether has he start to mumble mamamama or dadadada and I told him none. Actually I hardly hear him talking and mumbling.

Dr Tan did say boys start to talk slower compare to girls and mention something abt their brain funtions. I remember Naomi already started talking around this age and she can say few words and call me mama before she even turns 1. I think Isaac is really Mr Cool after all?

No eggs please!

This is a back dated post. This incident happened 2 weeks ago and it was so scary.
I was suppose to work till 7:30 that day and I received a frantic phone call at 6pm from Alice, my babysitter. She asked me to come over to her house asap as Isaac was sick as in seriously sick. She started off by telling me Isaac was having difficulties in breathing and has lots of cold sweat. Besides that, his body was red and swollen. My hands were shaking already that time. The first thing I asked her was “What did you feed him just now? Anything new?” Her reply was “Egg” I was horrified and told her no eggs for babies before 1 year old! As the chances of developing allergy is very high.
She said she took Isaac to the 24hours clinic and the doctor told her to send Isaac to the hospital straight away. I asked my babysitter to take him to the hospital first and will meet them there.
I called Dr Tan on his handphone and he told me has night clinic that day and he will be coming in at 7pm. By the time I reach hospital, the time was already 6:40pm (cause of the traffic jam at the industrial zone area). When I reach hospital, I saw Isaac’s face was so white and pale and he was very very very weak. I’ve never seen him that weak before and his eyes were like rolling upwards and wanted to fell asleep. My babysitter kept talking and playing with him so that he doesn’t fall to deep sleep.
We couldn’t wait any longer so we took him to the emergency instead. The nurse was not helpful at all and they kept saying nothing wrong with him (That time his breathing was back to normal, no more swollen body but he look very very pale and weak).
After some persuasions from us they finally his temperature and oxygen level and told us everything looks normal. I was a bit relieved that time but I just want the doctor to confirm it.
Dr Tan finally came at 7pm sharp! He said he was driving like an F1 driver to reach the hospital as fast as he could. When he saw Isaac, he straight away carries him and kisses him while we make ourselves inside his workplace. He said this is definitely allergy reactions already and ask us not to worry too much. By taking medications Isaac should be fine and no need for any admission. Thank God! :)
Back home, feeding Isaac’s medicine was “not so easy” task as I need to force the medicine down his throat. Less than 1 hour, he became to look ‘normal’ again.
According to Alice, his body reacts very fast to the egg. It was like less than 10seconds, his body started to react and he was having difficulties in breathing for about 20minutes. Alice told me she was so panicked and quickly drove him to the nearby clinic already.

Isaac @6months

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 213px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_O4H8rjnlTMw/SmQRB3HJvPI/AAAAAAAAAx0/Ni6Z_IsgkLo/s320/DSC_1016.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360428180149222642" />
Weight: 9.1kg
Height: 70cm
Head circumference: 45cm (I think or was it 42?)
Teeth: 2! Yay

I've started to feed him rice cereal when he's 5 1/2 months old. Besides rice cereal I tried Rusk biscuits+EBM, apple & pear puree. Compare to Naomi, Isaac is not that 'open' about food. Well, no worries for me as I guess every child is unique and I hope he will be willing to try and experiment with variety of food one day. I still breastfeed him and he will take about 6-7oz of EMB. I express my milk 2 times during office hours and will feed him direct when I'm at home with him. He still wakes up in the middle of the night for feeding.
I'm not sure whether it was his teething that gave him problem in eating solids but he has been cranky and refuse for the last 1 week. Finally, we saw 2 teeth on his bottom gums. Sometimes, he will 'bite' when I direct feed him and I need to control my expression cause if I over-react he will laugh (as though I'm encouraging him). But most of the time, I will scold him and ask him not to do it again.
As for his motor development. He's able to sit without support now, roll over both side and able to crawl from one end to the other end using his stomach.
We took Isaac for his first swimming experience 2 weeks ago and he's loving the experience!

Issac @5months

My little prince is growing up fast and in 2 more weeks he's going to be 6 months old! Time flies huh?

He's still 100% on mummy's milk and his next check up will be on the 4th July so I don't have his latest weight, height & head measurement.

He's able to turn from one side and then back again and he's able to sit up with minimal support as well. The only problem I'm having now is he's such a light sleeper. He can't sleep through for more than 2-3hours during the day and he still wakes up 1-2times in the middle of the night. During daytime, he will sleep like 30minutes in the morning then will stay awake till about 2pm and then he will sleep for another 1hour then awake till 5-6pm. After that he might sleep for another 2hours or sometimes less. But he is able to sleep longer from 9pm onwards. Weird huh?

He will sleep till 2am and I will feed him lying down. After that, he will wakes up at 6-7am. Imagine I need to go to work the next day......I think I'm doing okay as I'm use to it already :) although at times I'm really very tired.

I have also started giving him rice cereal when he's 5 months old and he's been taking rice cereal for 2 weeks plus now and he's loving it!

Of course the first few times he pushed out the rice cereal and it was very messy when feeding him. I will start to give him pureed fruits soon as well as start him on porridge when he's ready. I hope he's not a fussy eater and will just trying anything (just like her sister, Naomi). Wish me luck !

He's able to lift his head when he's 4 months old.

good morning ! Overall, he's doing alright.

His weight is 7.6kg now. He finally can roll over to one side now and he even can move his hand out and lift his head up. He's so cute when he giggles and he likes to play with his saliva (A lot!)Sometimes, he will blow his saliva out and his saliva will be all over the places (sometimes on my face!) Alice (my babysitter) mention that Isaac's gum is quite hard and might be expecting a tooth or 2 teeth soon. I hope he will be alright and no cranky baby during this transitions.

I might start solid for Isaac soon as per doctor's advise. I plan to give him rice cereal when he's 4 and a half months old or maybe 5 months old.

Here's my handsome boy sitting on his bumbo seat. See how much he has grown? :)

His hair also no more 'botak'. Maybe got about half a centimeter of hair now...hahaha

I know it's not much but at least something, right?

Tjun Aun bought this shirt for him last 3 weeks ago which says "Good Looking (Like my daddy)"

and we took Isaac and Naomi to Queensbay Mall and have dinner with my parents. Isaac was very well behaved (when we have dinner) and he was very excited and kept looking around. We put him on his stroller and push him around the shopping mall. Then the drama started. He didn't want to sit on his stroller anymore and wants us to carry him around. So, each of us took turn and carry him around and the stroller becomes the shopping cart in the end.

As I need to do some grocery shopping and need to spend more time at the mall and it's his feeding time so I took him to the mother's room and feed him milk while my parents and Tjun Aun took Naomi to walk around.

Inside the mother's room it was quite hot so I had to fan him to keep him cool as he was sweating. Yeah, my little boy sweat a lot and I decided to change his pyjamas as normally when I feed him he will dozed off already and so I can shop for grocery in peace. After about 30minutes feeding, he finally dozed off and I put him to sleep in his stroller and we continue our shopping at the mall. My mother in law didn’t suspect anything and she just told me that some babies will drool a lot and it’s not teething.
I read from the internet this morning and the signs above clearly shown that Isaac is indeed experiencing the ‘teething’ process. So, we will see..... I was wrong about him fitting 3-6months clothes. I need to change another set of clothes already to 6-9months now. I can’t believe how fast he has grown!

Drooling....

Sucking his mittens...

And so my breastfeeding journey begins....yet again....

With the birth of Isaac, so begins this second breastfeeding journey of mine. Psychologically, of course I am very prepared…prepared to sacrifice sleep for at least a few weeks or months, prepared for interrupted schedules and definitely prepared to reap the fulfilling rewards.
This time round, hallelujah, my milk came in immediately. He is definitely a pro at breastfeeding, but sometimes he can get a little bit lazy after nursing on one side, and needs to be woken up for feeding on the other side. During confinement, Isaac is fed on demand and usually asks for a feed every 2-3 hours, but sometimes less frequently.
I started to express my milk during confinement month so that I will have enough milk for him when I started working. It has been 2months plus and I’m still hanging there although there were times I wish to quit as I want to go travelling (I need to think twice) :)
I plan to breastfeed for at least 1 year only and I have to sacrifice my travelling plan for this.
As of now, Isaac is taking 6oz of milk for every 3-4hours and in the middle of the night shen he wakes up I will direct feed him (sometimes not for hunger and more of a comfort feeding).

My cheeky boy..

This was taken last week and Isaac is going to be 3 months old soon. His head is more steady now and definately more alert.

I still don't know what is his current weight etc. as we're schedule for the next check up in May only. He's definately growing and he's wearing bigger size clothes now. I didn't really buy lots of clothes for him as Naomi has tons of them (which mostly was passdown by my friend-Hooi Ling and relatives). I wanted to post the picture of the 2 of them side by side wearing the same clothes and the only diff is Isaac is wearing them at 2months+ while Naomi wore them when she was 5 months old. Please bear with me while I search for Naomi's pic.

Isaac still wakes up in the middle of the night for feeding. He usually goes to bed early around 9-ish and will wakes up around 3am. Sometimes after an hour he will wakes up again so it's quite tiring for me as I'm still working the next morning. Usually I'm like a zombie the next day. It was tough and I need to bear for another couple of months? Last time Naomi slept through the night when came back to work (after 2 months) but with Isaac he still can't establish the sleeping through the night pattern. Well, hopefully when he reaches 3 months, he can sleep through the night :)

My prince at 2months old...

Time flies and baby Isaac is 2months and 2 weeks old already.

2 weeks ago, his weight was 6kg and we will go for another jab in May only then only I can update about his development.

He has been smiling a lot and sometimes follow by 'laugh out loud' kinda sound and sometimes will screams and yells too. But on Thursday night I had a weird looking discharge (it was long, thick and colourless) so I went to check the internet and it says it was nothing and just a mucos discharge or something so I ignore again.
So I went to work as usual on Friday (2nd of January 2009) and I was normal and started chatting with one of my colleagues and I told her about the discharge. She quickly asked me to go check up but I told her I was not in pain and fine. She kept insisting me to go if not call my doctor for confirmation. So, I called my doctor but the nurse pick up and didn’t want me to speak to the doctor and kept asking me to come over and let doctor check. I was hesitated at first as what if it was a false alarm and I need to come and go back to work again and etc. In the end I made the decision to go and see my doctor. I waited for 15minutes before my turn and doctor checked and to my surprised I was already 4cm dilated!! I asked the doctor whether I can go back and pack my bag and he said ‘No’ and asked me to admit right away. That time was about 12pm already. So, in the end Tjun Aun went back to take my stuff and I was taken to the labour room to change and get ready. I was put on drip at 12:30pm or 1pm. The reason is the doctor plan to induced and make my contractions come closer together and dilate faster. It was so fast and I’ve already dilate to 5cm and the pain was too much and I asked for painkiller but the nurse told me it was too late to have painkiller so they gave me the gas as pain relieve. The gas makes me light headed and sleepy! I started to have the urge to pass motion and told the nurse I want to push and the nurse checked and told me to hang on. I waited for another 10more minutes and I have the urge again and I yelled to the nurses and they said I can start to push.
This time round, it was a real drama for me as I was screaming and shouting like mad woman! Hahaha…..first of all, they can’t get my doctor (heard he is having lunch at the cafeteria and didn’t pick up his hp). Secondly, they asked Tjun Aun to wait outside and he can only come in when the doctor is here and thirdly, I can see the nurses and midwife’s faces all panicking (as they were 2 new nurses that day and their faces was not reassuring at all!). I was not confident at all and was in pain!! Finally after 5 minutes my doctor arrived and I was very relieve to see his face and Tjun Aun was there with me and I started to push like mad (as if passing big and hard stool). After 3-4pushes, the baby came out and I can feel the sense of relieve all over me.
Although I suffer for less than 1 hour but that was the longest 1 hour in my life. I’m glad and thank God for the smooth delivery. Baby Isaac was born finally and he is on total breastfeeding and he is able to latch and suck well as of now. As for me, I hope to get back in shape :) and pumping milk for storage (need to keep the milk supply for him after I start work again in another 2 months time).

Hello World.....

Yup….I finally gave birth to Isaac Chew Wen Jien on the 2nd of January 2009 at 2:16pm weighing 3.25kg. She just gave me a smile. She asked me to step on the weighing machine and guess what?! I lost weight! I have put on 13kg so far and last 2 weeks I put on about 14kg and I lost 1 kg already! Haha…
Doctor did a scan and confirmed again that the baby has turned and baby’s head engaged to the serviks already. I’ve actually felt sharp pain just below my belly for couple of days already and it’s quite uncomfortable. Since I still have about 6 weeks to go before my due date, doctor told me that my baby size is bigger than the 1st one. From the scan, the baby’s size is at 38weeks in size (although I’m only at 34weeks). Doctor mention that the baby’s weight is around 7pounds (3.2kg) now and he said I still have more than 1 month to go and the baby will grow some more. Then he asked me to come back again on the 16th for another checkup.

My 32-weeks check-up.....

Time flies and it's been 3 weeks since my last check up and yesterday I went for my 32 weeks checkup and I'm very happy that my baby has turn! Actually, this baby move more than Naomi and sometimes when I'm in the office, I can see my stomach moving up and down and I feel a bit uncomfortable as well. Even on the road and there's a bump on the road, I can feel very very uncomfortable and always ask Tjun aun to slow down...yeah...it's that bad.....lol

Doctor told me everything is fine and he said that my baby size is about a 35weeks old baby! But I'm in my 32weeks only and has about 8 more weeks before my due date. He said he's not worried about the baby's (bigger than average size) and ask me to come in for another check up in 2 weeks time. He's more concern if the baby is smaller. I'm excited and scared at the same time actually. Naomi was 2 weeks+ earlier than her due date (weighing at 3kg- the ideal weight) and since my baby's size already reaches the 35weeks I think he will come out early as well? I guess I'm expecting a December baby? I dunno....I only pray and hope that there's no complications and baby will be healthy.

I'm scared that I have to go through the delivery process all over again.....hah.....

Wish me luck!

Am I going to have a Breech Baby?

I went for my 7th month check up yesterday and my doctor told me that my baby’s head has not turned down. I’m a bit worried when he told me that as I want normal birth and don’t want to go for Cesarean! (I have this phobia of someone cutting my stomach with a knife!). I blurted out to my doctor “Does that mean I won’t have natural birth???” My doctor smiled at me and said coolly “It’s still too early to say that….don’t worry too much……when you come back after 3 weeks, we will know” I feel like strangling him cause he always has this compose and cool look even though we asked him many questions and this one especially worries me.
My doctor is very confident that I can still go for normal vaginal delivery as this is my second baby and if the baby is below 3.5kg. My baby’s weight is at the average side (not too big and not too small) and there’s a high percentage for me to go for natural birth. But Tjun Aun suggested that I go for Cesarean for safety measure (IF I’m going to have a breech baby) as we cannot imagine when I push the leg will come out first instead of the head?? Doctor said “Still early to decide on anything and we can talk about the birth plan during your next visit”.
No wonder I felt this baby moving a lot compared to Naomi as he tend to do a lot of somersault. I started to research from Internet and found out many interesting facts about breech babies. I also get to know that it’s normal for 2nd or 3rd baby to turn later compare to the 1st baby. Next thing I did was interview people. I asked few of my friends (who are currently expecting (delivering soon) and those who has more than one baby about this. One of them, who is 36th weeks pregnant now told me that her baby’s head is not engaged yet and still doing somersaults! She just said pray and hope for the best that everything will be smooth. The other friend, who just gave birth to her 2nd baby recently told me that it’s true, her 2nd baby turn later than her 1st baby as well and she can’t remember exactly when already but she said it’s more than 30th weeks and near to her delivery date. She has natural birth for both her babies. To me, there’s still hope….and I talk to my baby and ask him to co-operate with me…..hahaha….This is the tips I got from one of my friends.
Anyhow, I’ve prepare for the worst….to us as long as I deliver a healthy baby (no matter natural birth or Cesarean). Wish me luck!

These are the tips I got from the internet:
Here are 17 Ways to Turn Your Breech Baby!
Be sure to check with your provider before trying the positions for turning a breech baby to see if there is any reason why you should not use them.
1. Visualizing the baby moving down with the head very deep in your pelvis, several times a day; especially in conjunction with positions and exercises below.
2. Swimming as often as possible. This keeps your body and pelvis loose and relaxed. Do in conjunction with headstand below if you have help.
3. Headstand - with assistance and in a pool frequently as possible.
4. Breech Tilt - begin at 32-35 weeks gestation. Do 3 times daily for 10-15 minutes each time, when you have an empty stomach, and the baby is active. Prop one end of an ironing board securely on a sofa or chair 12 to 18 inches high (or may use slant board). Lie down, bend knees but keep feet flat on board. Relax, breathe deeply, avoid tensing. May also use pillows on a flat surface to raise hips 12-18" above shoulders. Gravity pushes the baby's head into the fundus, tucks it, and baby can then do a somersault to a vertex position.
5. CD/iPod headphones - place them inside mom's pants toward her pubic bone and play classical music for 10 minutes 6-8 times a day.
6. Flashlight - try moving slowly down from the top of the uterus toward your pubic bone while you are in a breech tilt position.
7. Massage - start with your left hand at the bottom of the abdomen and your right hand just above it. Move move your hands clockwise around the right side of your tummy. As your right hand reaches the top of your abdomen, slide the left one over your right and move it down the left side of your tummy. Your left hand leads as you you come full circle, continuing clockwise. Massage gently as you would to apply lotion. Massage for ten minutes or more up to several times each day.
8. Clothespin - place on the small toe of each foot at the outside corner of the toenail; sideways so that the toenail and toepad are stimulated for 30 minutes per day, this is an acupressure point that is a "moving down" point. You can also do this with just finger pressure as you remember to do it.
9. Motion Sickness band - place with the bead four fingerwidths above the inner ankle bone - another acupressure point that is used for stimulation of the uterus. Do not use this point if you are experiencing any pre-term labor.
10. Glass of orange or other juice - follow this with a side-lying position with your hips positioned higher than your feet. Babies move more after a sugar high!
11. Pelvic Tilt- with an ice pack on the top of your tummy on an empty stomach, 10 minutes twice a day. Do this while lying on your back on the floor with knees flexed and feet on the floor with three large pillows placed under your buttocks. Try this in conjunction with headphones and visualization.
12. Cat stretch - start with all fours, then lay your head and chest flat on the floor with your buttocks in the air, as you round your back and return to all fours.
13. Knee-chest position - by kneeling with hips flexed slightly more than 90 degree, but with thighs not pressing against your tummy and your head, shoulders and upper chest are flat on a mattress for 15 minutes every two waking hours for five days.
14. Belly Relaxing followed by Inversion - Partner places a shawl, sheet, towel or rebozo under mom's hips as she lays on the floor. Lift up on the corners of the cloth and shimmy her from side to side moving your hands up and down to wiggle her belly from side to side. These should be very small movements which mom should find very relaxing. Do this for about 5 minutes. Then mother kneels on the stairway landing. Walk your hands down 2 or 3 stairs into an all fours position; have your partner support your shoulders to balance you. Remain in this position for about 5-10 minutes or as long as comfortable. Also do this on an empty stomach.
The following techniques to turn breech babies to vertex involve the assistance of a specialist or medical professional:
15. Acupuncture - find a acupuncturist who is familiar with pregnancy and knows the points to stimulate for turning a breech baby.
16. Webster's Breech Technique - see a Chiropractor who is experienced in this technique.
17. External Version - this can be done in the hospital at about 37 weeks; see an Ob-Gyn for assistance and more information.

It’s a BOY!

God bless me with a baby boy this time!

Doctor told me I was going to have a baby boy when I went for my 3rd month check up actually.

Normally, they say if it’s a boy you will find out at an early stage as the “bird” is very obvious…..haha….but I didn’t share the news with many people as the baby was still so small and not 100% confirm. 4th month check up, my doctor said the baby’s leg was blocking the private part and couldn’t see the gender. I guess the baby is playing hide and seek with us! 5th & 6th month check up, all of us can see the “bird” very clear and confirm it’s a baby boy! It’s that time again….anticipating baby’s arrival and getting ready all the stuff. This time I will make sure I have EVERYTHING before the baby arrives.

Naomi is still sleeping in the baby cot and we are planning to get her a single bed so she can sleep in before her little brother arrives. The other night I took out Naomi’s baby’s clothes out and started to sort all the clothes out. I can’t believe how fast she has grown! All the baby’s clothes are so small and tiny!! Most of the clothes can be recycle except for dresses and skirts. Since I'm expecting a baby boy this time I can't play dress up with the new baby. It breaks my heart a bit when I have to put away those cute and tiny feminine dresses...:(

Hello!!

Welcome to "my baby's” blog!
I’m creating a new blog for my 2nd baby ( We still can't find a name for him!! Help!)
I’m 27weeks plus pregnant now and have put on 12kg!!
I’m much bigger this time (although a few people commented that my stomach is considered small for near 7months pregnant!) and baby is very active inside my belly this time. He’s moving and kicking a lot inside my belly. I remembered Naomi was not that active inside my belly and I couldn’t feel her movement a lot when I was carrying her. I had a chat with my friend last week and she told me that normally if the baby that is not that active inside the stomach will usually be very active when he or she is born! (Like Naomi!). Could it be the opposite for my 2nd baby? Hmmm....

My stomach is protruding to the front and my belly button pop out this time and I don’t like the feeling of it…eeewwww….Last time my stomach was not that big actually and my belly button still look very nice and normal and not like now!! But I heard from few mothers that my belly button will be back to normal after I deliver.

Hello mummy & daddy....this is the scan I took when the baby was 9weeks and 1 day old.
